Come And See!
Wakefield Baptist Church is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.
What are your services like?
Whether it is through music, prayer or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Our services promote an atmosphere conducive for experiencing God's peace and include times of prayer, preaching and singing hymns. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.
Where should I park?
We have a parking lot for our congregation and our church is wheelchair accessible from this lot. There is also parking on Main Street in front of the church.
Where should I go when I enter the building?
We have greeters located at both the front and rear doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.
Do you provide childcare?
At this time we do not provide childcare, but children are welcome to sit with their family during worship. We want children to feel they belong here and we pledge to be patient. We realize that this may be a new & intimidating experience for them and pray they'll feel welcome here.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business casual (open collar shirts, khakis, jeans, skirts, dresses, etc).
